Adult Ministries

The primary way we encourage Christian care and learning is through Adult Bible Study Fellowships. Age-defined classes and topic-driven classes meet on Sunday mornings. In addition to Bible study fellowships there are other areas where you can fellowship, learn and bless the Lord with your talents:

Bible Study Fellowships

If you are not currently a part of one of our Sunday Bible Studies, we have a place for you. We have seven adult classes from which to choose; at least one of them is perfect for you! Join the growing number of people and families who find their lives enriched and Biblical guidance through the people and ministry of our church.

Joy Class

(Rm 101 - Upper Level)

Joy Class is our senior adult fellowship group.  We use a Bible-based curriculum published by the Church of the Nazarene as the basis for our discussions. If you are interested in a supportive atmosphere and enjoy discussing the Bible as it relates to the life issues of mature believers, then please join in!

SonRise

(Rm 109 - Upper Level)

We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural gathering of single, married, and divorced people. We Dialogue with each other in an interactive learning environment.

Sowers

(Rm 104 - Upper Level)

Bible-based denomination curriculum is the source for discussion of the group of 40-60 year old adults.

Sojourners

(Rm 1 - Lower Level)

This class is a multi-generational group of individuals interested in an in-depth study of the Bible. The class is currently studying the book of Acts.

The Harvest

(Rm 103 - Upper Level)

The class is a mix of single and married adults from mid 20s to mid 40s. Topical studies include marriage, children, stress, and discipleship. Our goal is to learn new ways to apply the historic truths of the Bible.

Hearts Unlimited

(Rm 108 - Upper Level)

This class invites women of all ages attending church alone (married, single, divorced, or widowed). Our hope is that each lady feels affirmed as a person, valued and loved, and that she sees her relationship to the Lord as her first and best resource for dealing with her situation.

Rise & Shine

(Rm 9 - Lower Level)

Singles, 18 to 24, are invited to join this new fellowship. Young adults will study topics that are relevant in today’s culture. Participants will encourage each other as they learn to deal with life changes and in their walk with God.

Common Ground

(Rm 107 - Upper Level)

Adults 30 to 60 find a common ground as life issues are explored in relation to the Word.

Connections

(Rm 107 - Upper Level)

We are an eclectic group of 20's, 30's and 40's.  Some of us have kids, others of us don't.  Some are married, some are single.  But through our discussion-based class, we come together to study the Bible and discover how God may speak to us on contemporary issues and what it means to be a Christian.  Ultimately, through Jesus Christ we seek to make connections with each other, with others outside our church, and with God!

In our Spanish Adult Bible Fellowship we discuss the Bible and its relevance to everyday life. If you are a Spanish-speaking adult who is seeking Bible knowledge, prayer, encouragement, fellowship, and helpful counsel, this is the adult Bible fellowship group for you!
