| | On Tuesday, November 18, we are helping with an event at the school with a Thanksgiving meal. We are providing some of the Thanksgiving staples from HyVee (like we do at our own church meal), but are asking our own folks to make desserts. We also need a small team of volunteers to serve and then eat with the families of the school. Every year we have the great pleasure of sharing a Thanksgiving meal together and this year it will be on Sunday, November 23 following the morning service. The church will provide turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, and rolls. We ask for you all to make a side dish and/or dessert to share with others. | | On Monday, November 24 we are headed down to Shelter KC to serve the residents there a fantastic meal. It has been our pleasure to serve this large meal for many years now, and we will need your help pulling it off. Here are the ways you can help: —Volunteer to prepare and/or serve the meal —Make brownies for the team to take as dessert —Give money to offset the cost of the meal. | Women’s Ministry Christmas Party |

| All ladies are invited to the annual Christmas gathering where we'll be celebrating Jesus, the Light of the World. The party will take place on Friday, December 5, 6:00pm, at the church.
Those who chose to participate in Secret Santa will exchange gifts. Other activities are planned and we hope you will join the festivities. Sign-ups for the party start Sunday, November 2 in the foyer. |

| NYC Fundraisers: Envelopes |

|
Next summer, 11 of our teens will join thousands of others in Salt Lake City, Utah for Nazarene Youth Conference. Throughout the year we will be taking part in many fundraisers. Some of these will involve our church and others will be in the community. |

|
| On the foyer whiteboard are envelopes numbered 1-100. The numbers signify the corresponding dollar amount. At any time, you can grab an envelope of any dollar amount you choose, put that amount in the envelope, and then place in the offering plates. The money collected for NYC will get distributed evenly amongst the 11 teens attending the event. Thank you! |

The Lighthouse Youth Group meets every Wednesday from 7-8pm to grow closer to Christ, examine our faith, eat snacks, and have fun! All Middle & High School students are welcome to join us!
